On February the 26th was carried out the III International Course of Urinary Incontinence Surgery and Pelvic Floor organized by ”Hospital Clínico San Carlos” of Madrid.

The Clinical Care Division of Palex Medical participated in a live surgery of MIS (Macroplastique Implantation System) made by Dr. Dudley Robinson of the King's College Hospital of London. This intervention can be made at ambulatory level under local or regional anesthesia.

The procedure is made by an exclusive device that injects the bulking agent in middle urethra, in the precise zone and to the predefined depth. This extra volume may increase the sphincter muscle closure pressure, so that it avoids leaking urine during normal daily activities.
