True to our business philosophy, Palex keeps contact with all those companies, in any part of the world, that are developing new technologies and advanced products that can be effectively used in the Spanish health system.

This is the primary research work undertaken by Palex: to discover and assess the innovations developed by the research centres run by health technology companies in any part of the world.

With the ultimate goal of offering these innovations to the hospital, backed with full technical and marketing support.

The outcome of this untiring search on five continents is a continuous supply of innovative products in each specialty, such as the “Shiley” heart valve, the world’s first pivoting disc valve and without doubt the most extensively implanted, the “Jarvik” artificial heart, the first of its type, or latest generation robotized technology, with the da Vinci, Sensei and RIVA systems, applied in different medical and surgical specialties.

The fact that these companies are all leaders in their fields is a clear indication of the importance that Palex gives to technological innovation, for the benefit of patients and health professionals in Spain and Portugal.
